Starter is the softest block in the SweetPro® Cattle product line and is typically used by stocker/backgrounding operations for inbound calves weighing under 600 lbs. It’s a proven receiving pen product that allows calves 24/7 access to the nutrition they require for optimal start up. Starter can also be used for cattle on abundant lush forages when intake of supplement can be the most challenging.
If consumption on Starter consistently exceeds 1.25 lbs per head per day, transition to Cattle Kandi to bring intake back into 0.75 to 1.25 lbs per head per day.
Starter contains a complete vitamin and organic trace mineral package, the postbiotic yeast culture and multi-prebiotic blend, ProBiotein®, and all the benefits of SweetPro’s fermented blend of condensed distillers solubles and distillers dried grains with solubles.
Starter is available with garlic.
